I really enjoyed this and laughed out loud several times! Good way to start a *checks brain for an extra moment* Wednesday. I agree wholeheartedly with your scale of risk-taking and increasing awareness of our life's fragility. I too did some now seemingly crazy things in my youth which I wouldn't trade for anything. Yet I also wouldn't do them now. There is still plenty of other life to live and I want to keep at it for awhile longer! Thanks for helping me appreciate that fact today.
Thanks for your lovely comment, Sabrina! I suppose that's it isn't it, we want to keep at it a while longer which means less risk taking. Nice to know there's a few of us in the same boat. Preferably a sturdy boat on calm water.
Wait a minute, is bungee jumping closer to catastrophe than sky diving? Now I have to finally kick that bucket, having done bungee. Oh wait a minute, I'm already nearing midlife and should instead plan a holiday to Albania with the family and of course order a family casserole :) besides that, if the chance presents itself, try crossing the road in Asia, I think it should be at the same spot with the casserole in the matrix!
A lot to consider, Rachel! :) Oh and you're right about crossing the road in Asia. Definitely a scary thing to do in certain countries of that region. I'll add it to the matrix!
Hi Mal, thanks for your comment. And congrats on getting to that point. Its hard to deny it being a fun stress at times re thrill seeking. Also, I don't think you can wrong with diving in and ordering a casserole and seeing what flavour it is. Anything where the ingredients are slow cooked and you're good to go I reckon.
After reading this, I have one burning question: WTAF is a family casserole? I assume it's a casserole for the family. But we don't have family pizza or family chicken or family road kill. So please please explain what a family casserole is!
Hehe you're on the money. It's a casserole for a family. Or a casserole for two people who want leftovers ;) 'Siri: find me family casseroles in Valencia'.
The things you foreigners eat are soooo weird. Why can't you just be normal and eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and deep fried twinkies like normal people! SHEESH!
There's really nothing quite like a good ol' family casserole to make us feel comfy and cosy....ahhh the simple things🙂

The drawings of the roundabout had me in stitches. And, “helldrifting” is a new word for me…I will definitely incorporate it into conversations!
Thanks, WB! Hell drifting is very satisfying to say, so I hope you treat yourself to it and throw it in a few conversations!

Hello Michael,
thrill- seeking used to be something I was nearly addicted to. Sometimes stress is fun (even if it's incredibly unhealthy).
Luckily now, I only need the present moment to feel alive, or at least I am trying to.
I have never ordered a casserole before, are there flavours one can choose from?

I love this story it was funny, I feel as though I want to try that delicious family casserole though.
Thanks, Mum. It was bloody good. Maybe RecipeTin Eats do an Albanian casserole?
Love your risk matrix.
Thanks, Susan! I'm not sure if it's by the book or not but it does the trick I think.

Brilliant. I LOVED reading this!
Oh thanks, Mark! I really appreciate that.
